In 1987, the Auclair family was quick to adapt to the ever-changing food trends and saw the need to pair their fine cuts of meat with robust flavors. The two original marinades introduced were Steakhouse and Lemon Pepper. These two powerhouse flavors remain our most popular to this day! With the success of our marinated meat, we became a destination market; and from there the Auclair’s marinade brand was born!

Soon after customers were requesting to buy our popular marinades we used on our meat products, we saw an opportunity for expansion and began to offer our fine marinades in retail jars! After establishing our brand, we decided to venture into the wholesale market and distribute food service gallons and retail jars to surrounding markets and local restaurants. Converting a section of our back room into a modern facility featuring a  high speed, fully automatic bottling line, we now have the ability to expedite orders and follow through with fulfillment demands.

Having a strong background in retail meats, Matthew Auclair, owner-operator of Auclair’s Provisions, has the ability to connect with other retailers and meat departments, as well as help identify specific needs or concerns throughout our partnership. At Auclair’s Provisions, we recognize and respect the clients’ brand and reputation they have built by offering a private label relationship.
